Fred Holly - Artist and Lutheran Church of Our Saviour member

Marie and I went to the Church Gallery in Delphi, Indiana today.  Fred Holly is a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, Monticello, IN.  He is also a visual artist with a long career of restoration work at the Art Institute of Chicago and teaching art in a wide variety of mediums.  He has a number of his works on display at Chapel Gallery in Delphi, IN. Marie and I were blessed to go to the exhibit today.

Fred's work is on display along with other local artists.  It was indeed a treat to see so much beauty gathered in one place.

Chapel Gallery is the repurposed former St. Mary Episcopal Church.  It was originally constructed in 1902.  I do not know when it closed. Here is a picture of the Church Gallery from the street. Thankfully, the stained glass was kept intact.

This is above the former altar.

This is near the entrance of the church building.
